This assignment will showcase your ability to integrate scholarly reference material into your analysis of literature related to healthcare.

2. Select from any of the assigned readings from this semester and create a 4-5 page (1000 – 1250 words) reflective essay with research included to support your main points. Select three or more literary works from weeks 1 through 7 that had a direct impact on you.
3. Consider these questions: how did each selection changed your understanding of the caregiver-patient relationship? How did each selection enhance your understanding of the role compassion plays in the caregiving role? How did each selection reveal the complex struggles patients face?
4. Please directly engage the text by providing short direct quotes from the reading and also add your own scholarly research in EACH supporting paragraph that highlights or emphasizes the literary element you are discussing. Remember to cite those passages using APA format. You will need to include an APA References page for your research sources and the literary sources you use in your paper. Do not quote large blocks of text. Limit yourself to one cited sentence for every 5 sentences of paragraph.
5. Use 2-3 scholarly, peer-reviewed sources for your research evidence. Wikipedia and general websites or blogs are not considered academic, scholarly sources. Remember to consult the Library for assistance if you have difficulty with your research sources.
